We are looking for a creative, disciplined, and
result-oriented Social Media Manager who understands student psychology,
exam preparation journeys, and content that truly engages learners—not just
trends.
Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning,
creating, publishing, and managing content across all major social
platforms. This role is content-first and execution-heavy, ideal for someone
who enjoys building consistent feeds, storytelling, and growing engaged
communities.
You will work closely with the product and academic teams to
translate features, exams, tips, and success stories into meaningful social
media content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
- Create
engaging content for:
- Instagram
(Reels, Posts, Stories)
- Facebook
(Posts, Groups)
- X
(Twitter)
- WhatsApp
Communities / Broadcasts
- Plan
and maintain a monthly content calendar
- Write
captions that are:
- Student-friendly
- Motivational
- Informative
and exam-relevant
- Convert
academic content into:
- Exam
tips
- Short
explainer posts
- Daily
motivation
- Test
reminders & announcements
Community & Engagement
- Respond
to comments, messages, and queries professionally
- Moderate
student communities and keep discussions healthy
- Encourage
engagement through polls, Q&A, quizzes, and challenges
- Build
trust and credibility with students and parents
Brand Consistency
- Ensure
all content aligns with:
- TestCone’s
tone (trustworthy, supportive, confident)
- Educational
accuracy
- Maintain
consistent visual and language style across platforms
Growth & Performance
- Track
performance metrics such as:
- Reach
- Engagement
- Follower
growth
- Identify
what works and optimize content accordingly
- Suggest
new formats, campaigns, and content ideas based on trends (without
compromising quality)
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven
experience managing social media accounts (education or EdTech
preferred)
- Strong
content writing skills (English required; Hindi/regional languages
a plus)
- Basic
understanding of:
- Instagram
Reels trends
- Algorithm-friendly
posting
- Ability
to simplify complex topics into easy, student-friendly content
- Familiarity
with tools such as:
- Canva
- Meta
Business Suite
- Scheduling
tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience
with NEET / JEE / competitive exam content
- Understanding
of student exam stress, preparation cycles, and motivation
- Basic
video editing skills (mobile or desktop tools)
- Data-driven
mindset for improving engagement
